Drug tests are required for employees involved in a workplace accident or when there is reasonable suspicion that an employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol while performing their job duties. All drug testing will be coordinated with an outside provider and complying with a request for a drug test is a condition of continued employment. Refusal to submit to a drug test will be considered a resignation.
Employees who test positive for illegal drugs or alcohol will be subject to discipline up to and including termination. Employees who are not terminated may be required to seek treatment as a condition of continued employment.
