From the first year to beyond graduation, the staff of the Internships & Careers Office helps students with career advising, internships and job search, interviews, resumes and graduate school preparation.
Through individual meetings, workshops, mock interviews and career fairs, students gain the tools and confidence needed to move from college to career.

Augie Hub connects students and alumni with jobs and internships. Students and alumni can provide a résumé, search a database of employers and apply for jobs. Approved employers have the ability to search the database of résumés to find a good match for any positions they may have available.
Augie Hub is part of NACElink, owned and operated by the National Association of Colleges and Employers(NACE) and described as "a national collaborative recruiting network of career centers." NACElink connects 700 participating college career centers, more than 3 million employer contacts, and more than 7.2 million students and alumni.
In addition to internships and jobs, Augie Hub also helps connect students and alumni with volunteer opportunities.
Augustana offers OptimalResume.com for a variety of tools to help students create, present, manage and share their professional credentials.
They also may use Optimal to create interactive career materials; present materials online and in print; and manage an unlimited number of career documents from one central location.
Illinois Small College Placement Association
Augustana College belongs to the 22-member Illinois Small College Placement Association (ISCPA), which links college students with employers. Its online career tool allows students to post resumes and search for jobs and internships.
The ISCPA CareerFest will take place on Jan. 31, 2014, at North Central College in Naperville.
