We host many fundraisers throughout the year, including our biggest event, Shantytown, where students and student groups build cardboard "homes" and live in the quad overnight. All funds raised by our fundraisers go directly to building materials for the home on which we are working. We build almost every Saturday in two shifts, 8:00am-12:00pm and 11:30am-3:30pm working at a local build site with lunch included. Building tasks range from nailing the frame, putting up shingles, to installing kitchen cabinets.
