 The PepsiCo Recreation Center was opened during the fall trimester of 1995. A one million-dollar gift from the PepsiCo Foundation helped in the building of this $2.9 million dollar building. The building is located next to Augustana's largest residence halls, Westerlin and Erickson. The building utilizes 40,000 square feet of gymnasium floor, which is encircled by an 8-lane, 200-meter track. Construction of this facility reflects the fact that the College joins a distinguished group of Division III institutions which recognize the importance of recreational activity for all members of a campus community and make a commitment to meet those needs. The PepsiCo Recreation Center is open to students, faculty, and staff at Augustana College.

6 lane, 200-meter track> 3 Regulation basketball courts (1 of which also accommodates tennis) > 2 Racquetball Courts > 4 Volleyball Courts Lockers for Men and Women Lounge 9 TVs 1,600-square-foot weight room The weight room includes a combination of both free and selectorized weight equipment. Cardiovascular Equipment 6 elliptical machines, 6 treadmills, 4 stair-steppers, 4 rowing machines, 2 Nordic machines, and an assortment of stationary bicycles. Training Room Student trainers and the training room staff are available to the Intramural and Recreational Sports Program. A student trainer will be available either at the site or the Intramural contests or in the Carver P.E. Center training room.
