What does B&B stand for you ask? Bed & Breakfast…no, better! Butterfinger BB’s…tasty, but better! Brain & Behavior!! I have been hoping to get into Brain & Behavior since before I even started at Augustana! How brain effects behavior has always interested me and this class is titled brain and behavior! How much better could it get? So, I’m finally in the class and it is awesome!
We are talking about the mind-brain relationship and how our behaviors are a result of activity in the brain. I am seriously so excited about this class! We are only a week and a half in, but I’m pretty sure I want to do some sort of research on or studying of the brain in grad school. I love the brain!
Every term I’m surprised when I have so many classes I really enjoy going to. The professors are interesting or the subject is thought-provoking, and I think it is so cool when I can make connections between classes in different departments and in the real world. Like I had that Intercultural Communication class last term and I actually saw some of the topics we discussed when I was having discussions with friends and family. I have always needed to have a reason for things and I am finding all sorts of reasons for things I didn’t even know you could explain!
