We are back in America. It is hard to believe that just over a week ago 26 of us were half way across the world experiencing the most beautiful scenery and having the most surreal adventure for 2 months. In a way they entire trip almost seems as if it were a dream. For all of our first week back in America I have been heavily involved with school work the pledging process of my Fraternity and maintaining a balance of my social life and extracurricular activities. When I am hanging out with all my friends and attending class I sometimes forget that not to long ago I was sailing the Whit Sunday Islands and surfing in Byron Bay. It is almost like I left reality to go to Australia and now I have entered back into reality. Reflecting back on my experience in Australia I am so glad that I didn’t waste a single minute or even once take for granted where I was or who I was with. I firmly believe that it doesn’t matter where you are but who you are with. That is one reason why I am not depressed to be home. I am extremely happy that I get to see most of my friends and family on a regular basis. That is also why I had the absolute time of my life in Australia. Not only was I visiting some of the most amazing places on earth but I was with a great group of close friends that made that experience that much better. For any of you prospective Australia goers I would HIGHLY recommend going on this trip and making the most of absolutely every situation you get yourselves into.
