Hello from across the globe! My name is Ashli Lagerhausen, and I am from Hebron, Illinois. I am a Junior at Augustana College majoring in communication sciences and disorders (Speech Pathology) with a recent minor declared in Africana Studies. I am extremely excited to participate in the West Africa Term taking place in Ghana and Senegal because it will be my first time traveling overseas! I cannot wait to live life outside my comfort zone, immerse myself in the vastly different culture, and come back home with a greater respect and understanding of the world around me!
