President Obama’s inauguration
President Obama’s inauguration happend last week and it’s taken me this long to get around to blogging about it – that’s how busy I am at the moment. With three weeks left and two senior inquiry papers and presentations hanging over my head, Tommy Tredway and I have had a date every single night these [...]

Registered for my last term ever
And with the click of a button, I registered for my last term at Augustana. It was an interesting moment. As per usual Arches, formally known as WebAdvisor, wasn’t working at the time I was supposed to register. Once they finally fixed that, I signed up for classes. It feels weird knowing there are all [...]

50th Blog Post!
In honor of hitting 50 blog posts, I’ve edited this image to make it look like I am wearing a birthday hat because I don’t own an actual birthday hat (I feel like that is something everyone needs to own). Thanks to those of you who read them on a reoccurring basis or those who are tuning [...]

While there is still 15 more days till 2012 is over (if the world doesn’t end on the 21st of course), I decided to write what my top 10 moments of 2012 were, listed below in no particular order. If I blogged about the experience, I’ve included the link to the blog post in the [...]

Christmas at Augustana
As usual, Christmas at Augustana was fantastic! I went this past Saturday and I can tell you that it was well worth the money I spent to attend. Christmas at Augustana is where all of the Augustana choirs and the orchestra play Christmas music. As you can see from this picture, they decorated Centennial beautifully [...]

Thanksgiving Break
Well I am officially back from Thanksgiving break and trying to get back into the swing of school. I honestly really don’t like winter term because it has all these breaks. You go to school for a week and a few days only to go on Thanksgiving break. You go back to school for three [...]

Applying to grad schools
In 13 days, my life will be a tad bit less stressful. In 13 days, I will have completed my first graduate school application. For some reason, graduate school applications seems way more stressful than applying to colleges ever did. Maybe it’s because I’m applying to less grad schools than I did colleges (I applied [...]

Fall break recap
Well, Fall Break is officially over. Somehow breaks always seems to go by super fast. Over break I visited a friend at ISU, filled out grad school applications (I finally figured out where I want to apply!), visited the dentist and doctor, and worked on my senior inquiry. Oh the joy of being a senior. [...]

Being on TV with President Obama
When I heard President Obama was going to be in Davenport again, I was hesitant to go. Last time I went to see Obama speak, I was in the second row and got to shake the President and First Lady’s hands. I thought nothing could beat that… I was wrong. My roommate and I decided [...]
