A window inside life at Augustana College

My life in a blog part 1

Entering Easter weekend the anxiety of graduation began to set in. I realized that in just over a month I would be a college graduate that still had no idea what my future would hold. Well on Easter Monday all of that began to change.

I visited with the new director at the summer camp I had worked at the previous three summers and although I did not apply for the most recent position I had held (assistant director) I was offered the job due to my experience and the lack of other returning staff members. Summer job…check!

On Muesday, I returned to Augustana pretty satisfied that I could return to camp but the thought that took up a majority of my thoughts was the fact that after July when camp would end I still didn’t have a job lined up.  I had been on phone interviews with the University of Illinois and the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Conference (SLIAC) but had yet to hear back from them about the intern positions. A visit to the University of Iowa was the workings as well at that point.

By the end of the day on Tuesday I knew that I would be traveling to Iowa City the next morning to attend a football press conference and to interview with the Hawkeyes’ staff in the afternoon. While I was working on homework in Cool Beanz that afternoon I received a call from Villanova asking if I could interview with them via the telephone! Things were starting to come together!

  1. Having read this I believed it was really enlightening.
I appreciate you finding the time and effort to put this content together.
I once again find myself spending a lot of time both reading and
commenting. But so what, it was still worthwhile!
