Most of my friends just recently decided on where they wanted to go to school this fall. These are the kids that waited until the last possible second to send in a decision. Personally, I never had to worry about that. Even though I was asked many times “What do you want to study?” to which I had to reply “Your guess is as good as mine!” … the question of “Where do you want to go?” had a simple, unwavering answer. “Augustana.”
From the trees that line the pathways to the multitudes of opportunity, there is nothing to not like about Augustana. The professors that I’ve met so far are wonderful, the campus is beautiful and the sense of family is obvious. I don’t know what it was that drew me to Augie in the first place, but it was a thought that never left. Now that this thought is coming to fruition in just 60 short days, I couldn’t be happier about my decision to attend Augustana.
Summer connection was a wonderful experience! Although registering for classes was a bit overwhelming for me personally, (I come from a small school and have never had that many choices!) the day as a whole was exciting and informative from start to finish. It made me wish for August even more. I can’t wait to start this chapeter in my life, get involved, and find out what it feels like to be a Viking!!
