At 10:30 Saturday evening, after a dance showcase, I had the opportunity to go blues dancing. After deciding not to go and returning to my room, I realized that I didn’t have anyone to keep me company. At first, I thought this to be sad and I somewhat wish I hadn’t declined the offer to go dancing, even if it was with people I didn’t really know. At this point, I decided that I should read the graphic novel that has been sitting on top of my printer for at least a month. It’s called the Eternal Smile and essentially contains 3 stories in which characters use fantasy worlds to face their real lives.
Normally I feel a bit sad when alone and unproductive, but this time it’s really nice.
Alone time is good when stress isn’t as immediate.
