A window inside life at Augustana College

Senior Year Where has all the time gone?

Olly Murs Heart Skips a Beat

This song reminds me of London : ) I haven’t updated my blog in a long time. But to be fair, between leaving London and returning to Augustana for Winter Term, I had about four days. My senior inquiries have been keeping me very busy this term. I am taking 3 classes: Soc321: American Racial and Ethnic Minorities, SOC419: Survey Research Methods and POLS490: Senior Inquiry. The topic I am studying is educational attainment in higher education among minority students. In other words, I am seeing what programs help first generation and/or low income students succeed in college. It is a very compelling topic! Once I finish, I will share more information about it. Right now, I am applying to internships for next year. Senior year is going by way too fast.

During Fall term, I studied abroad in London. I also visited Glasgow, Edinburgh, Rome, Dublin and Paris. It was an amazing experience! I don’t think I have enough words to describe how amazing it was. I took 3 classes: British Art, Contemporary British Politics and Multicultural Britain. I visited so many places and experienced a lot of new things. I have included some pictures. Enjoy!
