For the last week of winter break, I got to go on vacation with my family to Orlando, Florida.
That being said, I am incredibly
sad that break officially ends tomorrow. Since they say pictures speak louder than words, I am going to show you all my break through pictures (especially since I brought my new Canon camera with me!) We stayed at a Disney hotel and although it was freezing the first few days, I could not think of a better way to end my break. As you can see in this first picture, Florida had gorgeous sunsets!
The first we visited Magic Kingdom in Disney World. It was especially awesome to visit Magic Kingdom now, since they were all decorated for Christmas time. We got to go on the Snow White and Peter Pan ride I haven’t been on in ages.
As you can see in this picture, I got to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie! I don’t think I’ve ever actually gotten to meet either of them, so even though I’m 20, I was pretty happy here.
Since you have to be under 5ft 2inches to be Mickey or Minnie, someday I want to use my shortness to my advantage and be one of these two. Being paid to be under a certain height? Yes please!

During the day, we also went to some other parts of the park. We ended up in Jurassic Park and in the front row for the wettest ride I have ever been on. We should have known that people were wearing rain ponchos for a reason. We also went to Seuss Land, which was pretty sweet.
Who doesn’t like it when they feel they’ve entered into their childhood books? Overall, I had a fantastic break going to concerts, being with family, shopping with my sister, going to Build-a-Bear for the first time, seeing old friends, getting a circus waffle maker, bringing in 2011 with some awesome people, and visiting Orlando. Hope every had an awesome start to the new year! I can already tell that 2012 is going to be great!
