Nancy and Doug Hultquist
Nancy and Doug Hultquist’’77 join in celebrating the campaign kick-off dinner held May 1 at the Abbey Station in Rock Island. Doug Hultquist is CEO of QCR Holdings, Inc., and chairman of the Augustana College Board of Trustees.
It’s easy to get behind this campaign because we believe in the liberal arts experience, we believe in the mission of Augustana College and we believe Augustana is becoming one of the premier liberal arts colleges in the Midwest. Personally, it’s easy for us to have a passion for the campaign because our youngest daughter is a junior at Augustana, and she represents the fourth generation in our family to attend the college. We support the campaign because we want other deserving high school students to be able to attend Augustana, and to experience the challenge and inspiration she has found throughout her undergraduate education.
Because we appreciate the impact of each facet of the campaign, we have made gifts to all three components: capital projects, general endowment, and annual operations through The Augustana Fund. We can’t imagine a better investment for our family than to give to Authentically Augustana: A Call to Action.
