Academic Departmental Open House & Scholarship Competition
Registration for the 2013 Departmental Open House and Scholarship Competition is closed. Please call the Office of Admissions with any questions: (309)794-7341
Visit Augustana on January 26, 2013 for our academic departmental open house and scholarship competition. It's a great way to:
- explore an academic field through a department's open house
- enjoy getting to know some of the faculty mentors you may have as a student at Augustana
- express yourself and your abilities as you compete for a $4000 scholarship ($1000/year)
- experience our beautiful campus in winter
Over 30 academic departments representing nearly 90 majors and related areas of study will be participating in the event. Each scholarship competition will vary; last year departments had students collaborating in writing workshops, participating in group discussions, and performing experiments in our laboratories, just to name a few.
