Fall Visit Days
Visit Days are a great opportunity to experience what Augustana has to offer and to introduce you to life on our campus, all in the comfort of a group environment. Attending a Visit Day is perfect for your first visit to campus and we recommend them for any age high school student. You will receive an overview of the admissions process and academics at Augustana. You'll also take a campus tour with a current student.
The information fair, offered during check-in, provides access and interaction with every academic field at Augustana and a number of other key programs such as international study, campus ministries, student activities, the honors program and the career center.
The academic session provides an in-depth look at select departments often including suggested coursework, hands-on learning opportunities, and graduate success stories. One of the academic sessions (Choosing a Major) is for those who are uncertain what they will study or for those whose chosen field does not have an academic session. Choosing a major provides an overview of the curriculum, the process for selecting a major at Augustana, as well as delving into some of the hands-on learning opportunities on campus.

Scholarship Essay Contest
Augustana College will award three scholarships (one $1000 and two $500) to students who attend the visit days this fall. Scholarship eligibility is based on your 500-word essay on the following topic. Bring your essay with you on your visit, and we'll take it from there.
If I could open up my autobiography to page 137, what would I read on that page?
