Voter Registration Information
The Illinois Primary Election will be held on Tuesday November 6, 2012. If you are not currently registered to vote in Rock Island County but wish to cast your vote here, the last day to register is Tuesday October 9, 2012.
In the interest of encouraging you to register and vote, a member of the Financial Assistance staff has become certified as Voting Registrar by the Rock Island County Election Office. All you have to do is bring two forms of identification to the Office of Financial Assistance, Seminary Hall between 8:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. and 1:30 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. and ask for Lisa Gray. You may also go to www.elections.il.gov - click on "Voters" and choose "How Do I Register to Vote?" Please be sure to follow all of the instructions. You will be required to provide clear copies of 2 forms of identification and either mail the form or deliver the form in person to:

If you prefer to vote at your home address (away from Rock Island County), you should contact the local Board of Elections in your home community as soon as possible to check on election dates and request an absentee ballot. If you are unsure of the correct office to contact, family members or friends in your home community should be able to help you.
