Which departments do you act as a liaison for? Speech Communication, Multimedia Journalism, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science/Pre-Law, Women's and Gender studies
Do you do other activities around campus (coaching, student group advisor, etc.)? I am the Assistant Coach for our varsity men's basketball team.
What do you most love to tell prospective students about Augustana? I love to tell them about the unique opportunities it has afforded me since my graduation in 2006, the life long friends I have met here, and what a friendly place it is.
What is your favorite time/tradition of the Augustana school year? Basketball Season, especially February!
What's great about the Quad Cities? It offers everything a large metropolis does, just on a slightly smaller scale.
What do you like to do around the community? Participate in Recreation League athletics (softball, basketball, volleyball)
Why did you decide to work in this field and/or at Augustana? As an alum it was a no-brainer for me to come back to a place that is so near and dear to me!
What advice do you have for students who are searching for the right college for them? Be extensive and comprehensive in your search. College is the greatest 4 years of your life, make sure you're at a place that feels like home!
