Do you do other activities around campus (coaching, student group advisor, etc.)? Event Planning

What do you most love to tell prospective students about Augustana? At Augustana, you will get the best of both worlds. The variety of activities, work experiences and travel you would get at a large university paired with the individual attention and opportunities to get involved you would find in a smaller community.

What is your favorite time/tradition of the Augustana school year? I love the fall when the leaves are turning and the campus comes to life with activity.

What's great about the Quad Cities? There's so much to do in the Quad Cities, from festivals, arts and entertainment to great restaurants and sporting events. The Mississippi River is a beautiful backdrop to it all.

What do you like to do around the community? My family enjoys fishing and boating on the Mississippi. We also like to take in Quad City River Bandits and Quad City Eagles games.

Do you do volunteer service in the community? Where? Geneseo Schools, St. Malachy's Church, Junior Achievement, Geneseo Community Chest

Why did you decide to work in this field and/or at Augustana? I'm a big fan of Augustana. There are so many opportunities available for students, plus there is a wonderful sense of community. I love getting the word out about this place and helping students to figure out if it's a good match for them.

What advice do you have for students who are searching for the right college for them? Go with your gut feeling. Once you've done all of the research, you ultimately need to decide if that voice inside is telling you this is where you belong.
