Includes lodging, all meals and any field trips. Students arrive on campus Sunday, June 23, and depart Wednesday, June 26.
Course description
In this course, you will be part of an intensive three day experience hosted by the piano faculty of Augustana College. You will receive one on one instruction in music theory, keyboard history, and keyboard technology. In addition you will take part in daily lessons and practice. The academy will conclude with a participants’ recital, which will be open to the public.
Students should bring at least two pieces of music with them: one piece they have completed or performed (memorization is optional), and one or two pieces they are in the process of learning.
