Music Educators National Conference (MENC)
MENC is an organization which provides information and opportunities for professional growth in all music carrers. Membership in MENC is open to both music and non-music majors. Activities include hosting guest speakers on music education techniques, fund-raisers, and attending the annual convention.

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
A national men’s music fraternity, Phi Mu offers male students interested in music professional and social interaction through numerous activities.

Sigma Alpha Iota
An international women’s music fraternity that gives members the opportunity to explore their musical interests professionally and socially through the college and community.

American String Teachers Association-ASTA
The Augustana ASTA chapter called was proudly established during the fall of 2002. Comprised of string players and enthusiasts, this group participates in several educational activities each year, from trips to an instrument maker to reading sessions and workshops with local and regional artists and educators.
