Augustana Symphony Orchestra

The Augustana College Symphony Orchestra is a full-size orchestra of approximately 75 members. The orchestra performs three full programs a year and joins with the Handel Oratorio Society in yearly performances of Messiah and a major oratorio in the spring. In addition, the orchestra performs an annual concert presenting the music of J.S. Bach. Repertory for the orchestra ranges from Mozart, Mahler, Brahms, Wuorinen, Stravinsky, Beethoven, Larsen as well as many others. Faculty soloists appear regularly with the orchestra in the major concerto repertory.
