Live like a Londoner and be inspired by a program that immerses you in local culture, academically and socially, through a classroom like no other. A city of international business, fine arts, design, theatre, technology, politics, and finance awaits you.
Earn three 300-level internship credits for a part-time internship in your field and three 300-level credits for a class from British faculty. (This program does not qualify for learning community credit.)
The program is in partnership with CAPA International. As one of the largest internship providers in London, CAPA has built an extensive network of internship sites in businesses, nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations.
Program fees include tuition, housing in a flat, credit-bearing internship, CAPA-sponsored half-day coach tour of London, excursion to Stonehenge and Bath, full-day excursion to Strafford-upon-Avon and Kenilworth Castle, local transportation pass, CAPA support and services throughout the program, and insurance. This program qualifies for Augie Choice funds. It is open to all majors of junior and senior standing, with the approval of your major department and the Augustana International Office.
There also are CAPA sponsorships that may be applied to the program costs.
Additional fees include roundtrip airfare to London (~ $1,200), travel visa (~ $500), meals, refundable damage deposit ($150), possible fee increases due to fluctuations in exchange rate, and additional travel and entertainment.

The 2015 program takes place from July 8 to Aug. 22. Classes start for the 2015-16 academic year on Aug. 24, 2015, so returning students have the opportunity to travel before their internships.
