Why are you participating in the Augustana in Australia program? This is an amazing chance to experience a different culture while also getting hands on experience in my field of study.
What value do you hope to add back to the internship site? I hope to be able to add value to my internship site in any way I can whether it be a youthful perspective or an American point of view. I look forward to applying my experience from a past internship, as well as the theory from my finance and economics classes.
What do you hope to learn on your internship? I hope to learn how course content applies to the real world, learn about Australian culture in the work place, and develop decision making skills when working under pressure
Where do you plan to travel during your term "down under"? Fraser Island, New Zealand, Great Barrier Reef, Cairns
What do you anticipate to be the highlight of your experience "down under"? The warm weather, the relaxed "no worries" culture, outdoor activities.
