The members of the Konnichwa Club strive to provide a non-threatening
environment in which people can speak Japanese without the possibility of someone
looking down on them for their speaking ability. We also wish to promote
diversity among the students of Augustana College. It is our goal to make the Club
fun for students but also functional academically, in the sense that one’s language
skills will be able to improve through the help of other students.
