Announcements
I. For those interested in the JET Program for next year, the Denkmann language lab has three video tapes available. Ask the lab assistants if you want to view them. You can also read a letter from a JET participant (Suzy Hamon '99) by clicking here. Anyone interested in The Japan Technology Internship Program can visit their website, as well. II. We have been receiving a lot of "study in Japan" information. Stop by Rm 112 Denkmann (We have much more information in our office). Act fast! III. Miscellaneous: 1. Tutoring is available. Contact your Japanese teacher if you are interested. 2. Augie Japanese learners (first-year level) who are interested in learning KanjiKit wordprocessing (installed in the lab in Denkmann, lower level), make an appointment with Shearer. 3. If you are interested in purchasing reference books, dictionaries, etc., check out the bookstore (College Center). You can also take a look at a book dealer's catalogue at Denkmann Rm 112. Stop by if you are interested. 4. Make the most of books found in the Augie library (dictionaries, reference books, some workbooks, etc. ) in either reference area or PL section on the 4th floor.
