The David M. Loring map library -- an official depository of the U.S. Defense Mapping Agency and U.S.Geological Survey -- containing more than 85,000 climatic, geologic, hydrologic, topographic and transportation maps and 6,000 aerial photographs. The David M. Loring map library is partially housed in the Augustana Library.
