This site was created by Curtis C. and Elizabeth M. Roseman, with the support and assistance of Augustana College. We appreciate very much the assistance of Steph Gaspers who took our raw material and formed it into a Web site. Thanks also to Charles Mahaffey and Catherine Dowd, faculty members in Geography, for facilitating this project.

Some of the material on this site comes from the book, Grand Excursions on the Upper Mississippi River (2004: University of Iowa Press).
