The Faculty
L. Ann Boaden, Adjunct Associate Professor A.B. Augustana (Rock Island); A.M., Ph. D. University of Chicago Professor Boaden enjoys fiction, especially the contemporary short story and the Victorian novel, and creative nonfiction. A former editor of the college's alumni magazine, she's also interested in professional writing. Recently published work includes: "Dancing Lessons" in Big Muddy: a Journal of the Mississippi River Valley (2002), "For All the Saints" in Northwoods Journal (2003), "To Margaret, Laughing" in the inaugural issue of Knight Literary Journal (2003), and The Nine Days Wonder , a novel for young adults (East Hall Press), written in collaboration with Professor Karin Youngberg (2002). Her life is efficiently managed by a Yorkshire terrier named Joey. |
