Every program encourages audience interaction and participation, with each narrative carefully selected for cultural and moral perspectives. Trained in dance and traditional arts in her native Osaka, Kuniko has lived in Florida since 1992.

Join Kuniko as she presents her only full-length performance on Saturday, September 15 at 7 p.m. at Augustana College's Wallenberg Hall. Admission is free; donations will be accepted at the door.

OD TAPO IMI is a pop tropical show band like no other. Steel drums, guitars, assorted percussion, drum set, horns and vocals power this exultant, wild musical show/review. Complex layering of sonorous ringing steel drums and boiling percussion grabs you immediately and doesn’t let go. You’ll hear “Iko Iko,” “Day-Oh,” “Jump in the Line,” “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” and even “Twist & Shout” with energy, chops & humor. Space permitting, they add “Blue Mahn” Group and Stomp Broadway style performances, guaranteed to bring down the house! They’ll thrill the crowd with their streamer/confetti grand finale. With each show, they create an island atmosphere with garden lighting, special effects, beach balls, umbrellas & more! Explosive fun in the style of Harry Belafonte, Jimmy Buffett and current Pop Music – Singing, drumming and choreography make this a one of a kind performance that will be remembered and enjoyed by all audience members young and old alike!
