Augustana Center for Teaching and Learning

ACTL Website Launched

The new Augustana Center for Teaching and Learning website has been added to the main Augustana website under Academic Centers. This is a first step in providing a web location where faculty can find resources and information on teaching and learning topics. It also includes descriptions of current programming, an events calendar, and links to faculty grants and meeting allowance information. The following represents the specific links contained in the site:

New Faculty Programming
•  Orientation
•  Teaching Circles
•  Mentor Program
•  Consultations

Ongoing Faculty Programming
•  Teaching Observation Groups
•  Small Group Forums

Events Calendar

•  Tredway Library
•  ACTL Moodle Site
•  Upcoming Teaching and Learning Conferences
•  Information on Survey Maker, Smart Classrooms, IT Academic Classroom Support
•  Links to the Faculty Newsletter, Grant Information and Meeting Allowance

A future project for the ACTL web will be to include narratives of what Augustana faculty are doing in their classrooms and what specifically their students are learning.
