10:30 a.m. Convocation: David Walton, "Following in the Footsteps of Paul Farmer: Providing Medical Care in Haiti"

Augustana graduate David Walton, M.D. was one of the first candidates to be selected for the Howard Hiatt Residency in Global Health Equity and Internal Medicine. He has been working with Partners in Health since 1997 and is currently a resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He divides his time between Boston and Haiti.
In addition to David Walton’s work as an M.D. in Boston and his public health work in Haiti, he is an avid photographer. Photographs of his experiences in Haiti will be exhibited at the south end, main floor of the Tredway Library starting Wednesday, March 21. A reception with David Walton will take place on Thursday, March 22, 3:00-4:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
