Kathy Jakielski has been appointed Chair of the Augustana Institutional Review Board, replacing Tim Schermer. Requests for review of human participant projects should continue to be emailed to IRB@augustana.
Call for Papers
All faculty and staff who teach or work at a Lutheran college, or Lutheran faculty members teaching at any college or university, are invited to submit a paper or panel proposal for consideration for the 73 rd Annual Meeting of The Association of Lutheran College Faculties, “Me, Myself and Identity – The Self in the 21 st Century”. The meeting will be held October 3-5, 2008 at Concordia University-Chicago in River Forest, Illinois. Presentations are invited on the themes of:
- How we Know: Advances in Brain Research in Development, Learning and Cognition (Keynote Address)
- Know Thyself – Current Commentary on Questions of Mind and Body, Faith and Reason
- Know My Voice – Emerging Worldviews and the Mission of Lutheran Christian Higher Education
Please submit abstracts/papers or specifics of panel topics by June 6, 2008 to:
