Celebration of Learning and Symposium Day 2014
The Celebration of Learning will be Augustana's third Symposium Day for 2013-14. It will take place on May 7.
This annual event gives students the opportunity to share their scholarly and creative work and be a part of a campus-wide community of learners. Students are invited to submit proposals for presentations, posters, and performances.
New this year: Student presentations and performances will run concurrently with faculty panels on scholarship and teaching. Featured student, faculty, and alumni speakers will be scheduled throughout the day.
The Celebration of Learning began a student research symposium in 1997, and is the result of hundreds of hours of collaborative work between students and faculty members.
For more information, contact Dr. Margaret Farrar, associate dean, (309) 794-7313.
