The keynote speaker for 2006 is Eric Parthen. Eric is currently the Director of the National Governing Body (NGB) Development, a branch of the United States Olympic Committee.

As a senior at Augustana College, Eric interned with the United States Olympic Committee in the Grants and Insurance Division. Upon graduation, he worked as an engagement controller for Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in Chicago, IL, returning to the USOC as coordinator, manager, and assistant director of the Grants and Insurance Division. In 2000, Eric was named the Manager, Sports Partnerships at the USOC and in 2002, named as Executive Director of USA Boxing. Eric started as Director of NGB Development in 2005. Eric Parthen graduated from Augustana College in 1994 with a degree in business administration (finance and management) and accounting. While on campus, he was a member of the Phi Omega Phi Fraternity and the men’s basketball team.

Eric lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife and son. He serves on the Pikes Peak United Way Community Investment Board.
