Steven C. Bahls is the eighth president of Augustana College. He joined the college on July 1, 2003. Prior to joining Augustana College, he was dean at Capital University Law School.

President Bahls earned his law degree, cum laude at Northwestern University in 1979 and earned his bachelor's degree with highest distinction at University of Iowa College of Business in 1976.

He is a recognized scholar in the area of business law and agricultural law. President Bahls is active as a leader in his community and within the legal profession.
