Like Financial Representatives, interns strive to understand their clients' goals and visions in order to uncover financial solutions that put them on a path to success. Expectations:
In shadowing at Northwestern Mutual a student should expect to listen to phone calls, coaching with Reps, and learn how to plan a month's activity. They should also expect a tour of the office and a run-down of our internship (and if we have interns in the office, we will introduce them). By the end of the day, a student will understand if this career is something of interest to them. They will meet many Financial Representatives and Specialists in the office and be given the chance to ask questions.
