For over 30 years, Augustana College has been linking students to the real world through Business Day, the premier job shadow event of the Quad Cities area. Students look forward to spending a day in the "real world." They ask questions about daily activities, the company, and the industry, knowing that real world experience goes hand-in-hand with classroom study. Students compare their academic work to skills required for success in today's business environment. They learn about corporate leadership by communicating with TODAY'S business leaders.

Companies learn about today's generation of high potential college students. They connect with students seeking part-time jobs, full-time internships, and full-time career positions, and provide real-life examples of academic studies. Companies take the opportunity to communicate the strengths of their organizations to their students. Company sponsors link with TOMORROW'S business leaders.
