2007 Business Day Chair

Jessica Whetzal (Oswego, IL) is a senior at Augustana College majoring in Business Administration with concentrations in management and finance. She is also completing a minor in Psychology.  Currently, Jessica serves as Special Events Coordinator for Augustana Business Club, is a member of CUBOM (College Union Board of Managers) in charge of movies, and works on campus for the Augustana Career Center.   She was the fall 2006 Vice-President for Delta Chi Theta Sorority, and during fall term 2006, she interned at the Illinois State Police District 7 in East Moline, IL.

As chair for this event, Jessica is responsible for:

• Promoting Business Day to area companies and requesting their participation.
• Recruiting students to work on company recruitment, publicity, and fundraising committees.
• Obtaining funds to support Business Day.
• Leading entire set-up and teardown of the Business Day event.
• Serving as master of ceremonies at the Business Day breakfast.
