Jonathan Sprawka is a senior completing a double major in Accounting and Business Administration. During the 2001-02 academic year, Jonathan served as the Chair of Business Day, the President of the Accounting Association, and the Secretary/Treasurer of Business Club. During the summer of 2002, Jonathan completed an Accounting Internship at Pepper Construction Company in Chicago, IL.
As the Chair of Business Day, Jonathan planned the event beginning in fall, 2001. He recruited students to help plan the event. He coordinated the following committees: Company Recruitment, Publicity, and Fundraising. Jonathan was successful in obtaining funds to support Business Day from Business Club, Student Government Association, and the Quad Cities River Bandits Professional Baseball Team. Jonathan led the entire set-up and teardown of the event and served as the master of ceremonies at the Business Day breakfast.
Jonathan's hometown is Batavia, IL, and he plans to return to the Chicago area to pursue professional employment upon graduation.
