Faculty News

Laura Hartman's (Religion) first book, The Christian Consumer: Living Faithfully in a Fragile World, has been released from Oxford University Press this month. The Publisher's Weekly review is here. The Quad City Times recently featured Laura and her book in an article, here. On November 21, she had a book talk and signing at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. In the coming month, there should be a review article/interview appearing in Christianity Today and an essay related to the book appearing in the Huffington Post.

Art Pitz (History) has been asked by the Quad Cities Interfaith to capture and tell their story in 2012 to celebrate their 25th year of existence.  This story will likely be told in a documentary.
