Karen Eilers began at Augustana on August 8th. She serves as the Director of Career Development within the Community Engagement Center in Sorensen Hall. Karen joins Augie after four years as Associate Director of the Career Center at Central College in Pella, Iowa. She holds an M.A. in Student Development from the University of Iowa and is originally from Cedar Rapids.
As Director of Career Development, Karen works with students on job searching, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and general graduate school questions. She is eager to work with faculty in all areas to help prepare students for success after graduation. Contact her about class presentations, to refer a student, or to collaborate on a workshop or event.
