Faculty News

David Arbesú has been acknowledged as researcher and collaborator in the Corpus of Medieval Spanish Bibles (www.bibliamedieval.es) due to his research on a medieval Hebrew/Castilian Bible of the 13th c. (partially supported by Augustana College). Last weekend David traveled to the University of Notre Dame to give a paper on medieval historiography at the conference From Iberian Kingdoms to Atlantic Empires. 

Todd Cleveland recently served as the discussant for a panel entitled "Continuities and Ruptures in Africa: The History of the Present" as part of the 50 Anos das Independências Africanas: Desafios para a Modernidade conference in Lisbon, Portugal.
