ACTL

Greetings from the Center for Teaching & Learning.

With the passage of the motion to use the IDEA Center's SRI, we have new opportunities to measure how well we are meeting our objectives as a college. Specifically, we may now be in a better position than ever to ask to what extent are our students acquiring the Knowledge, Skills & Dispositions that we established as our General Education Goals?

I encourage you to take a look at the Faculty Information Form, which lists the 12 objectives you will be asked to rank for each of your classes, and to begin to ask yourself how we might use this new instrument to increase learning for all of our students.

Planning for training to use this instrument effectively has already begun. Watch your email for announcements. Until then, I hope you have a restful and rejuvenating break!
