A Message from Academic Affairs

Good News for Augustana

While work still remains, Augustana is having a terrific year for recruitment, thanks to the efforts of our excellent admissions staff and faculty and staff across campus. As Kent Barnds noted last week, we anticipate a first-year class well above our initial goal of 660 students.

Given the challenges of recruiting in an uncertain economy, this is a tremendous success that reflects well on everyone at Augie: thank you for your efforts. Faculty have done much to ensure our success, adding five new majors this year and helping to make visit days and scholarship events exciting for prospective students and their families.

Please take time to thank the Admissions and Financial Assistance staff for their leadership of our efforts as you have opportunity!
