This Week's Message
Welcome to Week Three!
As you begin to settle into the routine of the fall term and begin to work with your advisees, I'd like to remind you about the new Reporting Tools features available to faculty and advisors through links in Web Advisor.
Many of you have had the opportunity to take part in a brief training this fall to learn about the benefits of running your own reports directly from your desktop. The first feature uses a web-based product called Microsoft Report Manager. Some of the reports available to faculty include:
- Advisee PUG Report (for your own advisees)
- I and IP Grades (find out if you have incomplete grades)
- Registration Priorities (find out the date/time your advisees register)
- Senior Audit (summary of information of senior advisees)
- Major/Minor Report (information on students in a particular major/minor)
In addition to the reports available through Reporting Services, all faculty now have secure access to student information on any student through Web Advisor. If you need to work with a student not assigned as your advisee, you may now access their transcript, schedule and program evaluation if you have the student ID number. This should assist all faculty in providing guidance to a student in any department.
For those of you unable to participate in the trainings, the system is fairly intuitive and you can be self-trained by visiting the documentation found in the back of the faculty manual linked form our office Campus net site.

Throughout this year, along with Tammy McAuliffe from ITS, we will begin to roll out additional reports for faculty. While the software has some limitations, we do want to provide you the most useful information and welcome your feedback at anytime. If you have questions about the reports and services available to you, please contact me at anytime.
Enjoy!
Liesl Fowler,
Registrar / Assistant Dean
