NEW COURSE APPROVAL PROCESS

A reminder for faculty members wanting to have new courses approved for fall term:

Faculty members wishing to have new courses approved for Fall 2009 need to have their materials through the course review process in time for the last Faculty Senate meeting of the year, on May 7th. 

In order to be passed by Senate on May 7th, department- and division-approved courses should be submitted to the Education Policies Committee (EPC) and (if applicable) the General Education Committee by April 10, 2009

Course materials should be submitted electronically to EPC through the online form available on CampusNet (http://campus.augustana.edu/academic/AGES/AddaCourse.php).

If the course is a Learning Community, an LSFY course, or is to be considered for LP, G, or D designations, then course materials also need to be submitted to the Gen Ed committee.  The appropriate forms for the AGES program can also be found on CampusNet (http://campus.augustana.edu/academic/AGES/index.php).
