Drum set lessons offered

Students interested in learning to play a drum set, or who would like to develop their skills, are invited register for lessons for fall term.

Nine individual lessons of 30 minutes are offered on Wednesday afternoons.

Lessons are offered to students of all majors and all skill levels. The course qualifies for one credit hour. (Applied music lesson credits do not cause a credit overload.)

The course titles are listed as MULS 100-400-SET, and registration is done through Arches.

The drum set lesson studio is in the Music Rehearsal Annex at 3816 6th Ave. Students can use the annex for practice whenever it isn’t being used by others. Students may use a school-owned drum set that is kept in the annex for practice and lessons.

Students are expected to provide their own drum sticks. If you need to buy equipment or method books, there are a couple of local music shops to assist you.

Once you’re registered, call or text or email me, and I will work with you to schedule your weekly lesson.

Please contact me with any questions you may have: Gary Ciccotelli, drum set instructor, 563-210-4581.
