Senior Inquiry Presentations in Communication Sciences and Disorders

Eights students will present their Senior Inquiry projects in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The campus community is welcome to attend and hear about their work.

The students and their topics: 

Chelsea Crumbleholme: Work-related dysphonia. She is a CSD major from Moline, Ill.

Jordan Miller: Bilingualism in deaf individuals. She is a CSD major from Lindenhurst, Ill.

Courtney English: The effect of hearing loss on cognition and memory. She is a CSD and neuroscience major from Palatine, Ill.

Nicholas Winter: Theory of mind development in children with communication disorders. He is a CSD and neuroscience major from New Lenox, Ill.

Sarah Austin: Performance outcomes of patients using a cochlear implant and contralateral hearing aid. She is a CSD major from Orland Hills, Ill.

Courtney Kampert : The effect of early diagnosis of a communication disorder on family dynamics. She is a CSD and communication studies major from Huntley, Ill.

Kara Stahl: The role of speech-language pathologists in brain tumor management. She is a CSD major from Ringwood, Ill.

Paul Samatas: The impact of mild-to-moderate hearing loss on developmental outcomes in children. He is a CSD major from Elmwood Park, Ill.
