HISTORICAL NOTE
The Vagina Monologues is a play written by Eve Ensler and is part of a global movement called V-Day to raise awareness and prevent violence against women. The suggested donations from the college's production of the play benefit the Family Resource Center of the Quad Cities. Augustana College began performing the Monologues in the 2003-2004 academic year and has performed the show annually each February since. The theatre group Alpha Psi Omega sponsors the event.
